Enrise wint Dutch Search Award 2016
Enrise, developer of high-end digital solutions, bagged the ‘Best Search in Retail’ in the Netherlands award during the Dutch Search Awards 2016. During the festive award ceremony on 24 November in B.Amsterdam, Remko Mantel, team manager at Enrise, accepted the award from Victoria Koblenko, the evening’s host. Remko: “We were selected from renowned nominees including companies such as Bol.com, Wehkamp and Searchresult. What we’re feeling now is indescribable. What a buzz!”
The expert jury panel chose Enrise as ‘Best Search in Retail’ of the Netherlands due to the search solution they developed for Liberty Global, the world’s largest provider of cable television and broadband Internet. Enrise developed Pandosearch, a unique search engine, for 24 Liberty Global sites in 12 languages, using which customers can find the content they’re looking for quickly and easily. Visitors are automatically given suggestions in the correct language and content. The presentation and filter options of the search results greatly facilitate searching.
The jury selected Enrise because Pandosearch is highly-suited to other websites, shops and platforms due to its approach, creativity and scalability. Organisations can enrich their content using Pandosearch on the basis of microdata, documents and other information. This provides quick results: Higher customer satisfaction, knowledge sharing and a service-orientated organisation, to name a few.
Pandosearch is delivered as a scalable online service (SaaS), and can be implemented within a week. “The jury thought this was brilliant,” Victoria Koblenko emphasised.
Wat is search?
Onder ‘search’ valt alles wat met het zoeknetwerk te maken heeft en hieraan is gerelateerd: display, shopping, video en retargeting bijvoorbeeld. Maar search gaat verder dan zoekmachineoptimalisatie: ook zoeken binnen websites en webshops valt hieronder.
Dutch Search Awards
Dit jaar vond de uitreiking van de Search Awards voor het eerst in Nederland plaats. Het doel van de awards: het op de kaart zetten van de Nederlandse search-industrie.
